ELSS Engineering Ltd was awarded the contract to Design, Manufacture, Install, Test and Commission all of the Electrical and Pneumatic Control systems for the entire Water Filtration Systems and Aquatic Life Support Systems (LSS) for Siam Park, Tenerife. This was "Green Field" site with a huge Aquatic Theme Park spread over a surface area of 140,000m2 (35acres). Total water volume for this massive project amounts to an impressive 25,000m3. Flow rates for filtered water on this project will be 7,700m3/hr. Additional recirculation for the various Slides etc will produce a further 15,500m3/hr. The above excludes the 8,500m3 Wave Pool. Filtration equipment will be spread over six Plant rooms, each having a series of Variable Speed Drives, Pneumatics and a Main Central Control Panel with a 17" Touch Screen PC capable of communicating with each of the other 5 Plant rooms, the Central control room and Loro Parque at the opposite end of the island.
